Join us tomorrow, Tuesday, March 2, from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. (CT) for an interactive virtual townhall on Social Determinant of Medical Mistrust and Vaccine Hesitancy Amongst Black, Indigenous, and People of Color.
Hosted in partnership with the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) and the Peoria City/County Health Department (PCCHD), this virtual vaccine townhall will bring together a panel of public health leaders to discuss public health and racism - specifically to examine history, corrective actions, and how that feeds COVID vaccine hesitancy seen throughout the state. We strongly encourage attendees to bring questions for this panel, which is designed to be interactive and facilitate conversations around COVID vaccine hesitancy and social determinants of health.
